EB is designed to enhance students’ thinking skills, real-world knowledge, and language proficiency through the use of authentic English in authentic contexts. With 13 levels of difficulty, EB aims to help students not only improve their English language skills but also forge an enlightened and global consciousness in preparation for the challenges of the 21st century.

ENG Listening is designed to expose learners to a broad range of listening experiences and to make use of a wide selection of authentic listening materials. National Geographic audio and videos are provided to draw learners’ attention and build their confidence with relevant listening tasks.
ENG Speaking provides a wide range of activities that help learners to develop the ability to present information and feeling clearly and coherently, as well as to participate effectively in oral interactions. Learners acquire a range of speaking skills and strategies through responding to written materials, audio and videos.
ENG Reading boosts learners’ reading skills to seek information effectively, develop thinking skills, enrich knowledge, enhance language proficiency and broaden perspectives. Fascinating texts and visual materials from National Geographic are included to motivate learners to read for pleasure.

SD2 is an English skills development programme designed to help students achieve success in the HKDSE exam.
About SD2
SD2 is designed to help students succeed in the HKDSE English language exam. Our curriculum team analysed HKCEE past papers from the last ten years and recent HKDSE papers to compile the most accurate, up-to-date content, and identify the skills that students need for success in the HKDSE.

Main subject, Mathematics [FAST ™], Shanghai has won the world’s top score in PISA. Mathematics teaching is highly recognized. Shanghai’s [Hairy Crab Farm], a bio-environmental innovation project with the theme of crabs and vegetables. The hairy crab-vegetative project draws on the cultivation experience of fish-vegetative symbiosis, but also combines Shanghai’s local characteristics to make innovations. For students, observing hairy crabs closely and cultivating hairy crabs is not only an interesting practical experience, but also a scientific experiment.
[Hairy Crab Farm], the STEAM project (Science, Technology, and Mathematics learning areas) uses an open and flexible curriculum structure, which mainly includes i) scientific knowledge and scientific process skills, which are displayed with learning goals and learning objectives; ii) common skills; iii) values and attitudes. This project won the first prize of the 2019 national project-based learning exhibition evaluation and research project.



In a century-old school’s [Time Gallery], the project is aimed at good performance in Science, Technology, and Mathematics, but mainly focus on theory learning; some students lack of “hands-on” learning activities. Huacao’s [Fish and Vegetable Symbiosis]. Huacao school has a long history of establishing a school. Before the last century, Huacao was originally established near the Suzhou River. The Regional Education Bureau hopes to preserve the historical heritage across the century. “Yucaijia” has become the characteristics of Huacao’s STEAM course, and also a symbolic project for a centennial school.
Urban farming is to turn the roof of the building into a farm. In big cities such as London, Paris, New York, Singapore and Tokyo, urban farming has been developed for a long time, which can also ease the heat island effect.
